About one in six children in the U.S. have one or more developmental disabilities or other developmental delays.
— National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities , Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

Developmental disabilities are a group of conditions due to an impairment in physical, learning, language, or behavior areas. Inclusive education is about creating an environment that celebrates and empowers every student to reach their full potential. Peachtree Presbyterian Preschool is a program for children of all abilities. Each year the Preschool offers spaces in regular classrooms for children with disabilities and special rights. These children participate fully in an inclusive classroom with support from Inclusion Teachers.

Your support will help us continue to provide high-quality education to all students, including those with disabilities and other special needs. With your help, we can hire more trained teachers, provide specialized equipment and materials, offer individualized support, and provide financial assistance to families to ensure that every student has the tools they need to succeed.

Through their experience at the Preschool, children learn to respect and value the differences among people and celebrate each individual's gifts and strengths. Our goal for all children is to emphasize the value of differences rather than the stigma associated with disability.

Thank you for considering supporting this amazing program and changing the lives of families. For more information about the Inclusion Program contact Emma Cutler at ecutler@peachtreepreschool.org.
